I nvite the Guild to your Event. We breathe life into past events and fantasies. In the past we have engaged in a variety of fund-raising events. To this end we can provide activities for children at the various faires and festivals held around northern California. One such activity consists of a “mini-maze” leading into “Queen Mab’s Magjical Garden” where little ones can have fun making giant bubbles. There are “bubble kits” with our own special bubble mixture and hand-made wands for sale at a reasonable price for fun at home. At some events we have face-painting, simple “hands-on” crafts they can make and balloons for sale. This activity has already been approved for Valhalla, Pittsburg, Folsom, and for the Easter Egg Hunt at Falkirk Mansion in San Rafael. At present we have an activity the children enjoy at the Renaissance Faires we perform at. It is a “Medicament Wheel” which the children spin. It lists some of the prevalent illnesses of Elizabethan times. The child receives a cure or preventative in the form of a “sweet.”

We also give “Victorian Teas” as a fund-raising event for other organizations. St. Ambrose has the knowledge and the expertise to do this with a flair! Our costumes are authentically period and the tea service and foods have been researched so that the event would be a most enjoyable one for all concerned. The host organization would receive 1/3 of the “gate” for their treasury and we would make about the same after expenses. These teas would be held mostly on weekends or in an evening as most of our members work and could not attend during a week day. Victorian parlor games and crafts would be included as well as recitations and readings. A door prize would be given to the person bringing the most guests and a “keep-sake” given to each individual to take home.

There is no fee for our services, but a donation is gratefully accepted. (The amount of the donation can be suggested upon request)
